STEM Racing（旧 F1® in Schools）は、Formula 1 が支援する 6～19歳向け STEM 教育プログラムです。
学生たちは、自ら設計・製作したミニチュアF1® カーでレースに挑戦しながら、エンジニアリング、チームワーク、プロジェクト管理、ビジネススキルを実践的に学びます。
F1®を題材にした学びを通じ、STEMへの関心を高め、モータースポーツにとどまらず、自動車、航空、宇宙、製造、テクノロジーなど幅広い分野でのキャリア形成を支えます。
これまでに、世界で65カ国以上、約29,000校以上、180万人以上の学生（うち35％女性）が参加しています。
こうした学びを通じて、日本の次世代に課題解決力、イノベーションマインド、挑戦し続ける力を育みます。
STEM Racing (formerly F1® in Schools) is a STEM education program supported by Formula 1, designed for students aged 6 to 19.
Students design and build their own miniature F1® cars and compete in races, gaining hands-on experience in engineering, teamwork, project management, and business skills.
Through this realistic learning environment centered around F1®, the program nurtures interest in STEM fields and provides opportunities that lead to careers in motorsports, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, technology, and other industries.
To date, over 1.8 million students (35% of whom are female) from more than 29,000 schools across 65+ countries have participated worldwide.
The program aims to cultivate problem-solving abilities and a spirit of innovation in Japan’s next generation through STEM education.
B・A・Rで2003年に車両ダイナミクスエンジニアとしてキャリアをスタートし、2004年にタイヤエンジニアへ転身。ルノーではパフォーマンスエンジニアからレースエンジニアへ昇進。ロータスではロマン・グロージャンと共に9回の表彰台を獲得。2016年ハースF1チームに参画後、チーフレースエンジニアやエンジニアリングディレクターを務め、2024年1月よりチームプリンシパルに就任。
Starting his career as a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer at BAR in 2003, he transitioned to Tire Engineer in 2004. At Renault, he advanced from Performance Engineer to Race Engineer, and at Lotus, he secured nine podiums with Romain Grosjean. Since joining Haas F1 Team in 2016, he has served as Chief Race Engineer and Engineering Director, becoming Team Principal in January 2024.

東京を拠点とする高校生の有志によって結成されたチーム。一人ひとりが主体性を持ち、エンジニアリング、マーケティング、デザインなど各分野を担当しています。自らの手でプロジェクトを牽引し、挑戦を続けています。
A team formed by motivated high school students based in Tokyo. Each member takes initiative and is responsible for different areas such as engineering, marketing, and design. They lead the project with their own hands and continue to take on new challenges.

2016年から活動を続ける、福井工業大学附属福井高等学校のチーム。F1® in Schools時代から挑戦を重ね、これまでに複数回の世界大会出場実績を持ちます。積み重ねた経験を武器に、今年も世界大会に挑みます。
A team from Fukui Senior High School, Fukui University of Technology that has been active since 2016. They have continued to take on the challenge since the days of F1 in Schools and have represented Japan at the World Finals multiple times. With their accumulated experience, they are once again aiming for success at this year’s World Finals.

Fusion Force is a collaboration team between Japan and Thailand, comprised of experienced members with various awards. They want to prove that distance is no limit to teamwork.
